I grew up on the quiet edge of a village, where the roads dissolved into fields and the wind was often my only company. No neighbours. No playground noise. Just open land, long afternoons, and a boy learning how to wander alone.

I turned silence into adventure. Dusty paths into stories. Empty days into something alive.

Then one day, my father brought home a new phone. I held it in my hands and pressed the camera for the first time. Suddenly, the world changed. The same fields I had known forever now carried light, texture, wonder. Ordinary things became worth noticing.

I began borrowing that phone whenever I could, disappearing into the farms to chase moments no one else saw. Somewhere in those quiet walks, I fell in love with photography.

Life moved forward. Seasons changed. Roads stretched farther than I imagined. And they led me here—to Canada.
